Articulation les provide a com pact means of storing variati ons on a set of instruments , without the need to
save multiple copies of the same sam ples. ey also o er a means of long-distance co llaboration, and a way
for sound developers to distribute updates to customers.
Save Articulation…[Alt] + [F] + [T]
Exports a Giga Articulatio n le from the current ly open .gig le. An art iculation le contai ns the same
instrument denitions as a .gi g le, but no samples. See “Load Articulation” above for more information.
Exit: [Alt] + [F] + [X]
Shuts down the Giga Editor.
Edit Menu
e Edit Menu is wh ere you will nd the var ious
editing commands.
Many of these comm ands can be ac cessed with the
computer keyboard. ese keyboard commands
match the standard Windows keyboard shortcuts
for the most part.
e Cut, Copy, Paste, and Delete commands on this
menu will change to reect the type of object that is
currently selected – instrument, ban k, region,
sample, etc.
To make an edit, select an item with the mouse and go to the menu with the mouse or with a keyboard
shortcut and choos e the edit comm and you want to u se.
ere are also various sho rt cut keyboard combinations you can use.
[Ctrl] + [X] to Cut
[Ctrl] + [C] to Copy
[Ctrl] + [V] to Paste
[Delete] key to Del ete
Many of these options are also availab le by right-clicking on the item instead of going up to the menu.
Undo: [Ctrl] + [Z] or [Alt] + [E] + [U]
is will undo your most recent edit.
Selecting this again will “redo” th e edit that was “undone”.
