For each instrument in a .gig  le, there is a designated “audition sample” in the wav e pool. is can be a
quick demo or even an audio tutoria l specic to th e instrument. F rom the QuickSo und Explorer, au dition
samples can be played as a previ ew before loading an enti re instrument.
Two versions of this command ar e available: one sets the aud ition sample for the curr ent instrument.  e
second version of t he command mak es the selected s ample the audit ion sample fo r every instrument i n the
.gig le.
e audition sample for the currently selected instrument will have a tiny letter “A” next to its icon.
Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Ren ame
ese commands are used as in any Windows applicatio n.
Note that when you cut or delete a sample, any regions mapped to that sample will be unmapped (will no
longer sound).
Batch rename
Use this command to rename som e or all of your samples acc ording to rules you specify in th e Rename
Samples dialog. You can replace all occurrences of one string with another, and/or append an
automatically generated sux based on the sample's unity note or position in the le.
