Properties
Click on “Properties ” in the region me nu to bring up th e Region Propert ies window. You m ay also double-
click on a region to bring this window up.
e note range is for information and is not ad justable here (drag the r egion or its boundaries to change the
region’s range). e Key Group is an advanced Hi-Hat mode feature: region s assigned to the same key
group (other than group 0) cut e ach other o. You can al so create a monophonic instru ment by setting all
of its regions to the same nonzero group.
Key group zero is the default setting and has no eect.
New region
Creates a new region at the locatio n you clicked on the keyboard . Because regions may not overlap, this
command is grayed out if you clic k on an existing region. Click in the unoccupied gray area below the
keyboard to use this command.
e newly creat ed region will span a s ingle key. Drag t he region, or its le or right edges, to change the
note coverage.
Cut region(s)
Deletes the currently s elected region(s ) and makes a copy of them on the clipboard. Any sa mples mapped
to the selected regio ns are also copi ed (but not del eted from the cu rrent le).
Copy region(s)
Makes a copy of the currently select ed region(s) and places them o n the clipboard. Any samples ma pped to
the selected regions ar e also copied.
Paste region(s)
Pastes any regions from the clipboard into the curr ent instrument.
is option will paste the cut or copied region or group of regions from the clipboard.
If you are pasting to another instrument, it will try to put the regions on the same note range as
they came from.
If these note ranges are oc cupied, then the regi ons will be placed on the c losest empty note rang es.
When pasting to the same instrume nt that the regions were c opied from, the regions wil l also be
placed on the closest em pty note ranges.
