2. Click on the header at the top of the Velocity window.
3. e Dimensio n Controller dial og for the Veloc ity dimension appears. In th e previous chapt er, we
used this dialog to create velocity s plits. You can also use it to n ame, clone, or delete existing splits,
and to change the order of splits within a dimension (even aer samples have been mapped to them).

4. Click on the Add button to add a second velocity split. e new split will
appear at the top.
5. Click the Rename button and change the name of each split. Name the rst one “So” and the
second one “Loud” for no w. en click OK to cl ose the Dimension Cont roller dialog.
6. Now the Velocity Map is divided hor izontally to represent these tw o velocity splits.
