Status Bar: [Alt] + [V] + [S]
is command displays or hid es the Status Bar.
e Status Bar shows a variety of information i ncluding: (1) the name of the audio interface curr ently in
use, (2) the current and pea k number of voices sou nding, (3) external MIDI a ctivity, (4) memory usage , (5)
the amount of free space currently available to the temp direc tory, and (6) the “committed” size, which is an
estimate of the disk space that wi ll be needed to s ave all of the  les currently open.
Show Audio: [Alt] + [V] + [A]
is command displays or hides the graphical audio wav eform view. e w aveform view displays the
sample wave and parameters such a s ADSR envelopes, LFOs and loop points. i s allows you to precisely
edit these paramet ers and see how they will lay o n top of the sam ple.
Note that samples in some inst ruments may be compressed , and decompressing these samples
automatically for display purposes could slow down the Editor unac ceptably. In these cases the w aveform
view displays the message "accelerated wave - click to display". C licking anywhere in the wi ndow will cause
the wave to be drawn normally.
When the Envelope Preview button is pressed, the waveform is drawn as if the amplitude envelope (EG1)
were already applied to it.
