7. Select the Loud dimension split a nd drag “Bass-Sustain f E2” to t he velocity map.
8. Now select both the Layer splits , since we wa nt to apply the f ollowing
edit to both.
9. Click the header b ar in the Articula tion Parameters window and cho ose “Mix/Layer” from the
category menu.
10. Click in the value eld for “Attenuation controller” to see a menu of options. e default is “None.”
Change this to “(1) Mod wheel” because we want the Mod Wheel to continuously control the volume
of both layers.
