e MIDI controller you specify is assigned to the combining dimension. at is, if you sel ect mod wheel
under “Using this controller...”, th en the mod wheel will s elect which of the original i nstruments is playing
at any given time in the new, c ombined instrument. (If the original instruments a lready contained mod
wheel dimensions, then all of the original mod wheel splits will be stacked together in the combined mod
wheel dimension.)
Note that this menu command is o nly enabled when two or mor e instruments are selected in the
instrument window.
Crossfade editor: [Alt] + [E] + [O]
Crossfades are specied in Giga by editing four arti culation parameters: th e fade-in start and end points
and the fade-out start and end points. e Cross fade Editor is a convenient graphical alternative to ed iting
these four parameters numerically.
