the two applications maintain inde pendent lists.
Disable dragging samples to other applications. By default, you can drag samples out of the
editor and drop them on the Window s desktop or Explorer, or into another application that
accepts .wav les. However, t his capability requires some ov erhead that can slow down d rag/drop
operations within the Editor itsel f, particularly for very lar ge samples. If dragging s amples causes
the Editor to hang temporarily, ch eck this box. You will still be abl e to drag samples and folders
into the other Editor windows for mapping purposes. To expo rt samples as .wav les, right-click
on a sample or folder and use th e "Export" function, since dr agging samples outside the Ed itor will
no longer work.
MIDI Menu
Channel Status: [Alt] + [M] + [C]
is command displays the Channel Status window, which shows you which instruments are currently
mapped to every channel and port in GigaStudio.
You can also display this window by pressing the “Channel status” toolbar button.
View Menu
You can free up screen space by disab ling any of these items. Toggle them
on and o by clic king on the it em in the menu. A checkmark wi ll appear
beside enabled items.
