Filter Settings
Filters shape the timbre of a sound by altering (ltering) t he amplitude of speci c frequency ranges. i s
can be used to make an instrument’ s character warm , dull, bright, or thin dependin g on the type of lter
and its settings.
Filters can be used creatively by assi gning real-time continuous co ntrollers to various aspects of th eir
envelopes, cuto frequencies, and resonance thereby allowing for creation of more synthetic textures with
electronic characteristics.
Filter type
0 – None. e lter is bypa ssed.
1 – Lowpass. Filters out high fr equencies.
2 – Highpass. Filters out low frequencies.
3 – Bandpass. Filters both high a nd low frequencies.
4 – Bandreject. Filt ers out middle frequencies.
Turbo LPF
Adds additional poles of attenuation to the lowpass lter algorithm, creating a more intense analog lter
eect. is option is only available when the Filter type parameter is set to “Lowpass.”
When used with certain resonance settings, Turbo LPF can generate high amplitude resonant frequency
oscillations. Proceed with caution when editing at loud volu mes. is could be damaging to your speakers.
