TASCAM GigaEditor 4 Manual 177
Chapter 10: Macros
A Macro is a time saving feature th at allows you to save any pa rticular parameter edit or grou p of edits to be
reused later.
For example, if you have spent a lot of time coming up with the perfect Envelope and Filter settings, you
don’t want to have to write them all down and recreate them by hand just to use them in another
instrument. Instead, you can save th e edits as a macro and in stantly apply those hard won settings to
another instrument. For settings t hat you use frequently, you can even assign a “hot-key” to a ny macro.
You can also copy your collection of macros to another GigaStudio syst em.
A Macro can consist of just a s ingle articulation parameter, such as Filter Cuto, or it can contain multip le
parameters or even an entire articulation.
