Prerequisites

Enable Macintosh printing:

￿Remotely, using TopAccess on the administrator’s workstation.

￿Locally, using the printer’s LCD touch screen.

Macintosh LPD Setup

1Launch your Web browser. Open TopAccess using the IP address of the GL-1020 controller you want to configure. (Refer to Opening TopAccess on page 71.)

Note: You can find the IP address by using GL-DocMon.

2Login as an Administrator.

3Click the Administration tab.

4Click the Setup submenu.

5Click the Print Services link.

6Scroll down to the LPD Printing section and select Enable from the drop-down box.

7Click Save.

Classic Mode Support

For Classic mode support, please ensure that OS 9.1 has been installed on your MAC and restart your system in the Classic mode. Once you are in the Classic Mode OS 9.1, please refer to the manual section MAC PPD. installation.
