Configuring SMB Settings

1In the SMB area of the Network page, click the Protocol drop-down list.

5Enter the address of the primary WINS Server.

6Enter a WINS Scope ID for the controller.

Note: Macintosh and Unix networks must have WINS or NETBIOS support to access the GL-1020 controller by name instead of IP address.

7To set the controller as a master browser, click the Master Browser drop-down list and select Enable.

The default setting is Disable.

8Click Save.
