Connecting the External Device to the CXP6000 Color Server
This section describes how to connect the cables from the external device
to the CXP6000 Color Server.
To connect an external SCSI device:
1. Shut down the CXP6000 Color Server.
2. Connect the external SCSI cable to the external SCSI port on the left
of the server (see the following figure).
Notes:
The added external device can be used for saving files but not for the Creo
application itself.
It is preferable to remove the Creo application prior to the installation and then
reinstall it after the installation is complete.
Important: Do not use the external SCSI port on the right of the server.
