DNS Server

This is the IP address of a DNS server. This field displays N/A if you

 

have the NWA3000-N series AP get a DNS server IP address from the

 

ISP dynamically but the LAN interface is using a static IP address.

 

 

VLAN Settings

 

 

 

Management

Enter a VLAN ID for the NWA3000-N series AP.

VLAN ID

 

 

 

As Native VLAN

Select this option to treat this VLAN ID as a VLAN created on the

 

NWA3000-N series AP and not one assigned to it from outside the

 

network.

 

 

Apply

Click Apply to save your changes back to the NWA3000-N series AP.

 

 

Reset

Click Reset to return the screen to its last-saved settings.

 

 

8.2.1 Add or Edit a DNS Setting

Use this screen to configure a DNS server entry for the LAN. Click Configuration

>LAN Setting and then click the Add button or select a DNS server entry from the list and click the Edit button to access this screen.

Select User-Definedto manually enter a DNS server’s IP address.

 

Select From DHCP to dynamically get a DNS server address from a

DNS Server

This appears when you set the Type to User-Defined. Enter the IP

 

address of a DNS server.

 

 

OK

Click OK to save your customized settings and exit this screen.

 

 

Cancel

Click Cancel to exit this screen without saving
