Stroomvoeding

Sluit de koffiemachine alleen aan op een geschikt stopcon- tact. De spanning moet overeenstemmen met de spanning die op het plaatje van het apparaat staat vermeld.

Voedingskabel

Gebruik de koffiemachine nooit als de voedingskabel defect is. Indien de voedingskabel beschadigd is, moet deze door de fabrikant of door zijn klantenservice vervan- gen worden. Laat de voedingskabel niet over hoeken en scherpe randen of hete voorwerpen lopen, en bescherm het tegen olie.

Draag de koffiemachine niet aan de kabel en trek er niet aan. Haal de stekker niet uit het stopcontact door aan de kabel te trekken en raak het niet met natte handen aan.

Voorkom dat de voedingskabel los van tafels of planken afhangt.

Bescherming van andere personen

Houd kinderen onder toezicht om te vermijden dat ze met het apparaat spelen.

Kinderen realiseren zich de gevaren die aan elektrische apparaten verbonden zijn niet. Laat het verpakkingsmate- riaal van de machine niet binnen bereik van kinderen.

Verbrandingsgevaar!

Richt de hete stoom- en/of waterstraal nooit op uzelf of op anderen. Gebruik altijd de handgrepen of knoppen. Verwijder de “Crema” filterhouder nooit terwijl de koffie uit het apparaat stroomt. Tijdens het opwarmen kan warm water uit de centrale koffie-unit druppelen.

Plaatsing

Zet de koffiemachine op een veilige plek waar niemand het kan omstoten of zich eraan kan verwonden.

Er kan heet water of oververhitte stoom uitkomen: Gevaar voor brandwonden!

Bewaar de machine niet bij een temperatuur van minder dan 0°C; het apparaat kan door bevriezing worden beschadigd.

Gebruik de koffiemachine niet buiten.

Zet de machine niet op erg warme oppervlakken en in de buurt van open vuur om te voorkomen dat de behuizing smelt of anderszins beschadigd raakt.

Reiniging

Alvorens het apparaat schoon te maken, moeten alle toetsen worden uitgeschakeld en moet de stekker uit het stopcontact worden gehaald.

Wacht dan tot de machine is afgekoeld. Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water!

Pogingen tot reparaties aan de binnenkant van de ma- chine zijn ten strengste verboden.

Gebruik het water dat enkele dagen in het waterreservoir heeft gestaan niet voor voedingsdoeleinden, was en vul het reservoir met vers drinkwater.

Ruimte voor gebruik en onderhoud

Voor een correcte en goede werking van de koffiemachine wordt het volgende aanbevolen:

•Kies een vlakke ondergrond;

•Kies een voldoende verlichte, hygiënische omgeving met een gemakkelijk toegankelijk stopcontact;

•Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat op een minimumafstand van de wanden staat, zoals op de afbeelding is aangegeven

(Afb.A).

Opslag van de machine

Schakel de machine uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcon- tact, wanneer de machine langere tijd niet wordt gebruikt. Bewaar de machine in een droge ruimte en buiten het bereik van kinderen. Bescherm de machine tegen stof en vuil.

Reparaties / Onderhoud

Haal de stekker meteen uit het stopcontact bij storingen, defecten of vermoedelijke defecten na een val. Zet de machine nooit in werking als deze defect is. Alleen de er- kende servicecentra mogen werkzaamheden en reparaties uitvoeren. Bij ondeskundig uitgevoerde werkzaamheden wordt iedere vorm van aansprakelijkheid van de hand gewezen.

Brandbestrijding

Gebruik in geval van brand koolzuurblussers (CO2). Gebruik geen water of poederblussers.
