4 INSTALLATIE

Houd u voor uw eigen veiligheid en die van anderen strikt aan de "Veiligheidsvoorschriften" in hst. 3.

4.1Verpakking

De oorspronkelijke verpakking is ontworpen en vervaar- digd om de machine tijdens het transport te beschermen. Het is raadzaam om de verpakking te bewaren voor eventueel transport in de toekomst.

4.2Waarschuwingen voor de installatie

Houd u aan de volgende veiligheidsvoorschriften, voordat u het apparaat installeert:

•zet het apparaat op een veilige plek;

•verzeker u ervan dat kinderen niet met het apparaat kunnen spelen;

•zet het apparaat niet op erg warme oppervlakken of in de buurt van open vuur.

De koffiemachine mag nu op het elektriciteitsnet worden aangesloten.

Opgelet: wij raden aan om de onderdelen te wassen voor de eerste ingebruikname en/of na

een periode dat deze niet zijn gebruikt.

4.3Aansluiting van de machine

Elektrische stroom kan gevaarlijk zijn! Houd u daarom altijd strikt aan de veiligheidsvoor- schriften. Gebruik nooit defecte kabels! Defecte kabels en stekkers moeten onmiddellijk door erkende service-

centra worden vervangen.

De spanning van het apparaat is in de fabriek ingesteld.

Controleer of de netspanning overeenstemt met de aanwijzingen op het typeplaatje op de achterkant van het apparaat.

•Controleer of de schakelaar ON/OFF (18) niet is ingedrukt, voordat u het apparaat op het elektriciteitsnet aansluit.

•Steek de stekker in een wandstopcontact met de juiste spanning.

4.4 Waterreservoir

•(Afb.1) - Haal de accessoires lade (7), het wateropvang- bakje (8) en het rooster (9) eruit.

•(Afb.2) - Neem het waterreservoir (3) weg; let op dat het wateraanzuigbuisje niet wordt beschadigd.

•(Afb.3) - Spoel het reservoir en vul het met vers drinkwater zonder het te vol te maken.

•(Afb.4) - Zet het reservoir weer op zijn plaats en let erop dat het eerder weggehaalde buisje weer op de goede plek komt.

Vul het reservoir altijd en alleen met vers drink- water zonder koolzuur. Warm water of andere vloeistoffen kunnen het reservoir beschadigen. Zet het apparaat nooit aan zonder dat er water in zit: controleer

of er voldoende water in het reservoir zit.

Opgelet: voor het snel bijvullen van het water- reservoir kan men de trechter gebruiken die zich bovenop de machine bevindt. Open de trechter (Afb.5) en vul bij met water (Afb.6). Sluit na het bijvullen altijd

de trechter.

4.5Vullen van het circuit

Nadat het apparaat lange tijd niet gebruikt is en het water verbruikt is, moet het circuit van het apparaat worden gevuld, voordat het apparaat wordt ingeschakeld.

•(Afb.7) - Druk op de schakelaar ON/OFF (18), het con- trolelampje binnenin gaat branden

•(Afb.8) - Plaats een bak onder het stoompijpje. Draai de heetwater-/stoomknop (5) linksom open.

•Wacht tot uit het stoompijpje (pannarello) een gelijkmatige waterstraal stroomt.

•Draai de “heetwater-/stoomknop” (5) rechtsom dicht. Haal de bak weg.

De machine is nu gereed voor de afgifte van koffie en stoom; zie de desbetreffende hoofdstukken voor meer informatie over de werking ervan.

5 KOFFIEAFGIFTE

Let op! Tijdens de koffieafgifte mag de "Crema" filterhouder niet worden verwijderd door hem met

de hand rechtsom te draaien. Verbrandingsgevaar.

•Tijdens deze handeling kan controlelampje van de kof- fieschakelaar (16) “klaar voor gebruik” aan en uit gaan; dit is normaal en geen storing.

•Controleer voor gebruik of de heetwater-/stoomknop (5) dicht gedraaid is en of het waterreservoir van het apparaat voldoende water bevat.

•(Afb.7) - Druk op de schakelaar ON/OFF (18), het con- trolelampje binnenin gaat branden

•Wacht tot het controlelampje van de koffieschakelaar (16) "klaar voor gebruik" aangaat, nu is de machine klaar voor de koffieafgifte.
