Windows for Workgroups/NDIS 2 Installation |
If you are running Windows for Workgroups Version 3.11, perform the following procedure:
1At the Network Setup window, select Networks, then Install Microsoft Windows Network.
2Change any other items for your environment, and click OK and Continue.
3When prompted to install a new PC Card, select Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter.
4When prompted to insert a diskette that contains the network driver, insert TokenDisk diskette #2 and click OK.
5Follow the instructions as they appear on the window to install the device driver.
6Accept the defaults for Interrupt, MMIO, and SRAM.
You will be given a chance to update these later, if necessary.
7Exit the Windows for Workgroups setup.
8Exit to the DOS prompt. Do not reboot your PC at this time.
9Configure the 3C389 PC Card using LANAID.
See Chapter 5 for information on how to use LANAID.
10If LANAID is not already installed, install it as described in Chapter 4 in the section “Installing LANAID.”
11After LANAID is installed, continue with Chapter 4 “Using LANAID to Configure the 3C389 PC Card.”
When you get to the panel that asks for the existing network operating system, select Microsoft windows for workgroups.
