The choice of F in the Operation Mode Selector (Figure 47), is the default; if the Software Download Menu displays for 5 seconds, execution from the flash automatically begins. The choice of D is for debug purposes only and should only be carried out by system developers. Option C is for entering the MAC address. This is normally performed in the factory.
