age1439_epoch_generate (on page 98) controls whether or not data epochs are gener- ated.

age1439_epoch_generate_get (on page 98) gets the current value of epochGenerate age1439_epoch_header (on page 98) sets the value of the first 32 bits of the epoch

header. It can be used by the optical receiver to direct where to route and/or how to process associated epoch data.
