The firmware update process takes several minutes. The instrument’s front panel ATTN indicator will flash green while the update is in progress.

When the update to the instrument carrier firmware is complete, the results are indicated as shown in Figure 2- 24. Note that an update of the instrument sub- assembly firmware may continue for a few moments after the update results message appears.
