Note

Do not activate MSTP on the AT-GS950/10PS switch without first familiarizing yourself with the following concepts and guidelines. Like STP and RSTP, you must activate this MSTP protocol on a switch and then configure the protocol parameters.

Note

The implementation of MSTP in the management software complies fully with the new IEEE 802.1s standard and should be interoperable with any other vendor’s fully compliant 802.1s implementation.
