Device Configuration
The following table provides a list of the fields in the General tab of the Device Information dialog box and their descriptions.

System Name | Logical name of the device as defined on the |
| SNMP agent of the device. |

IP Address | The IP address of the device. |
|
|
MAC Address | The MAC address of the device. |
|
|
Contact | Individual responsible for maintenance of the |
| device. |
|
|
Physical Location | The current physical location of the device. |
|
|
Device Family | The family of devices to which the device |
| belongs. |
|
|
System Description | A description of the device. |
|
|
Number of Modules | The number of modules currently in the |
| device. |
|
|
Management VLAN | The VLAN ID (VLAN #) of the agent. |
|
|
Operational Status | The warning level of the device. Possible |
| values are: |
| • OK |
| • Warning |
| • Fatal |
|

Device Information - Advanced Tab
To view the Advanced tab of the Device Information dialog box:
1.Select Configure > Device Information. The Device Information dialog box opens to the General tab.
