Chapter 20

IP Global Parameters

To display and update the IP global parameters, select IP Route > IP Global Parameters. The IP Global Parameters window opens.

The following parameters are displayed:

Table 20-1. IP Global Parameters

Field	Description

ICMP Error Messages	If checked, ICMP error messages should be sent.
Enable	If not checked, ICMP error messages should not
	be sent.

ARP Timeout	The number of seconds that may pass between
(seconds)	ARP requests concerning entries in the ARP
	table. After this period, the entry is deleted from
	the table.
