| • Dynamic - The entry is learned from the |

| ARP protocol. If the station entry is not |

| active for a predetermined time, the entry |

| is deleted from the table. |

| • Static - The entry has been configured by |
|
| the network management station and is |
|
| permanent. |
|
| • Invalid - The entry in the table is invalid. |

You can create or delete ARP table entries. For more information on editing tables, refer to “Editing Tables” on page 213.
You can limit the table entries displayed. To start the display of entries from a specified interface and IP address:
1.Click .
Or
Select Action > Start Point. The Start Point dialog box opens.

2.Enter an IP address in the IP Address field.
3.Select an interface from the If Name listbox.
4.Click OK. The ARP Table displays entries starting with the specified IP address and interface.
To view all the entries in the ARP Table:
Click .
Or
Select View > Refresh. All entries appear in the table.
