		minutes to send or
		copy a document.

		minutes to receive a
		document.

Action

Press the Stop button if you want to cancel the transmission.

Divide the document and send or copy each part separately.

Contact the other party. Have them divide the document and send each part separately.

The document is longer than 39.4 inches (1 meter).

Use a copy machine to make a reduced copy of the document and send the copy.

DOCUMENT READY	—	The document in the
		ADF is ready for faxing,
		scanning, or copying.
ECM RX	—	The unit is receiving a
		fax using Error
		Correction Mode
		(ECM).

Send the document, scan the document, or make the copy.

ECM receptions may take longer than normal transmissions. Turn off ECM if you need to receive quickly, or if you know your local lines are in good condition. (See the MultiPASS Desktop Manager Software Guide or the Standalone Fax Manual.)
