
Installing the 3.5" Hard-Drive Backplane

1Install the backplane into the
2Replace the screws that secure the backplane to the
3Replace the
4Replace the screws that secure the
5Connect all cables to the backplane. See Figure
6Connect front panel cables to the fan controller board. See Figure
7Replace the screws that secure the
8Close the system, see "Closing the System" on page 118.
9Replace the hard drives. See "Installing a Hard Drive into a
10Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn on the system, including any attached peripherals.
