Removing the Expansion-Card Connector

1Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from its electrical outlet.

2Remove the system-board assembly. See "Removing a System-Board Assembly" on page 87.

3Remove the expansion card. See "Removing the Expansion Card" on page 95.

4Remove the two screws securing the expansion-card connector to the expansion-card bracket. See Figure 3-12.

5Pull the expansion-card connector away from the expansion-card bracket. See Figure 3-12.
