The Storm Control page contains the following fields:
Port
— Specifies the
Unit
and
Port
for which storm control is enabled.
Storm Control Mode
— Specifies the mode of broadcast affected by storm control.
Broadcast
— If the rate of L2 broadcast traffic ingressing on an interface increases beyond the
configured threshold, the traffic will be dropped.
Multicast
— If the rate of L2 multicast traffic ingressing on an interface increases beyond the
configured threshold, the traffic will be dropped.
Unknown Unicast
— If the rate of unknown L2 unicast (destination lookup failure) traffic
ingressing on an interface increases beyond the configured threshold, the traffic will be dropped.
Storm Control Admin Mode
— Enables or Disables Storm Control.
Storm Control Rate Threshold (0–100%)
— Specifies the maximum rate at which unknown packets
are forwarded. The range is a percent of the total threshold.
Defining Storm Control Port Parameters

Open the
Storm Control
interface.
2.
Edit the fields on the screen.
3.
Click
Apply Changes
.
The storm control port parameters are saved to the switch.
Displaying the Storm Control Settings Table

Open the
Storm Control
interface.

Show All
.
