Setting the IP Address

To use the interface card with TCP/IP, you need to assign it an IP 2 address using EpsonNet WinAssist, EpsonNet MacAssist, or the arp/ping command.

The IP address should be set in the following cases:

When configuring the interface card using EpsonNet WebAssist (the utility that is pre-installed in the interface card)

Remote (LPR on IP) printing from NetWare 5

TCP/IP (via EpsonNet Direct Print) printing from Windows 98, Windows 95, Windows 2000, and Windows NT 4.0

TCP/IP (LPR port) printing from Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows NT 3.51

TCP/IP (lpr port) printing from OS/2 Warp and UNIX

Internet printing using EpsonNet Internet Print on Windows 98, Windows 95, and Windows NT 4.0
