1.Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2.Double-click the Network icon in the Control Panel.

3.Click the Protocols tab to check if the TCP/IP Protocol is installed. If not, click Add and select TCP/IP Protocol. Follow the on-screen instructions.
