8.2GbE Intelligent Blade Panel (IBP) 10/6

The GbE Intelligent Blade Panel (IBP) 10/6 is a LAN connection module in- between a pass-thru and a switch. It combines the switch advantage of cable and port consolidation with the pass-thru advantage of working fully (VLAN) transparent and the lack of any protocol compatibility issues. The IBP 10/6 offers the following connections:

–10 internal 1Gbit downlink ports to the server blades

–6 external 1Gbit uplink ports via RJ45 connectors

It provides the same control and connection panel as the Gbit Ethernet LAN Switch Blade (SB9) 6x1Gbit.
