Note 5:

Perform dialing by using the dial function of the terminal software. For the dial setting, refer to the operation manual for the terminal software.

Dial connection is possible by using the AT command from the terminal. Dialing is performed by using the AT command for a case of using a terminal software having no dial function. For the method of dialing by using the AT command, refer to the operation manual for the modem. An example is shown below.

Example: When dialing by using the Hayes interchangeable AT command.

Dialing to 123-4567 on tone by using the public line

Dialing to 123-4567 on tone by using the private branch-exchange.

Dialing to 123-4567 on tone by using the private branch-exchange after dialing zero and waiting for a few seconds.

A CD-ROM is required when performing replacement of the software by using this terminal.
