CIR

Set the committed information rate (CIR), the average traffic rate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Set the committed burst size (CBS), number of bytes that can be sent in

each interval. This function is not supported in the current software

 

 

 

version, and it is reserved for future support.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Set the action to perform for exceeding packets.

 

 

Discard

After selecting the Red box, you can select one of the following options:

 

Red

 

Discard—Drops the exceeding packet.

 

 

Pass—Permits the exceeding packet to pass through.

 

 

 

 

 

Pass

This function is not supported in the current software version, and it is

 

 

 

reserved for future support.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Configure the packet filtering action.

 

 

 

After selecting the Filter box, select one item in the following list:

Filter

Permit—Forwards the packet.

 

 

 

Deny—Drops the packet.

 

 

 

Not Set—Cancels the packet filtering action.

 

 

 

 

Adding a policy

1.Select QoS > QoS Policy from the navigation tree.

2.Click the Add tab to enter the page for adding a policy. Figure 468 Adding a policy

3.Add a policy as described in Table 156.

4.Click Add.
