Configuring gratuitous ARP

1.From the navigation tree, select Network > ARP Management.

2.Click the Gratuitous ARP tab.

3.Configure gratuitous ARP as described in Table 81.

4.Click Apply.

Static ARP configuration example

Network Requirements

As shown in Figure 221, hosts are connected to Switch A, and Switch A is connected to Router B through GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 in VLAN 100.

To ensure secure communications between Switch A and Router B, configure a static ARP entry on Switch A for Router B.
