Calibrate Printer

For details on these options, see Chapter 4, Calibrating the

 

Printer.

 

 

Media Feed — eliminates banding between print swaths

 

(“stitch banding”) by calibrating media advance. See

 

“Media Feed” on page 4-6for instructions.

 

Manual Calibrations — allows you to calibrate the printer

 

visually, without the printer’s digital imaging sensor. Inaccu-

 

rate judgments by the operator during these tests could

 

result in substandard output. See “Manual Calibrations” on

 

page 4-8for instructions.
