This section describes how to display the PPP LCP and IPCP status.
Displaying LCP StatusUse the SHOW PORT n LCP STATUS command to display LCP characteristics. This command is nonprivileged. This command shows the actual state of the LCP implementation on the access server. Because of the nature of PPP negotiations, the display can differ from the configured characteristics shown on the SHOW PORT n
PPPLCP CHARACTERISTICS display. The display fields fall into two categories:
∙General link status (LCP Status section)
∙Status of the LCP options (LCP Options section)
