Preparing LAT Services for InitializationDo This

If the access server offers LAT services, follow these steps before you initialize:

Step Action

1Enter the following command to disable queuing on the access server:

Local> SET SERVER QUEUE LIMIT 0

2Disable additional connections to local services. For example, the following command disables the service LASER:

Local> SET SERVICE LASER CONNECTIONS DISABLED

3Check that the queue is empty before starting the initialization procedure by entering one of the following commands:

Local> SHOW QUEUE ALL or

Local> SHOW SERVER STATUS

The time that it takes for the queue to empty depends upon the number of requests that it contains.
