Engine troubleshooting charts

You can use Table 5 to find solutions to problems that have the described symptoms.

If you cannot find the problem in the table, go to “Starting the diagnostic programs” on page 98 to test the appliance. If you have run the diagnostic test programs or if running the tests does not reveal the problem, call for service.

The symptom appears in the left column of the table. Instructions and probable solutions to the problem are in the right column. If you have just added new software or a new option and your appliance is not working, do the following before using the troubleshooting charts:

vRemove the software or device that you just added.

vRun the diagnostic tests to determine if your appliance is running correctly.

vReinstall the new software or new device.
