-fForce deletion from the root: if this is used in combination with -tor -cand TARGETROOT is a root directory (for example, e:\, \, /).

-tEnsure that the target tree is exactly the tree speci®ed in the package ®le. If a directory of the same name exists, the Gather tool does the following:

vErases the entire contents of the directory and all of its subdirectories

vDestroys the directory and all subdirectories

vPerforms a mkdir command to create the entire tree structure again as speci®ed in the package ®le

This ¯ag cannot be speci®ed if the-a¯ag is speci®ed.

If an rmdir command fails during processing, the teamcpak command stops.

If neither -anor -tis speci®ed, the default is to assume that the desired tree structure already exists. No veri®cation is performed to con®rm that the directories exist. If they do not, the condition is detected while the package ®le rules are being processed. If you stop the teamcpak command, some target directories might contain updated ®les.

-mAccept missing source ®les.

If this ¯ag is not speci®ed, the default is to ensure that at least one ®le matches each source speci®cation in the package ®le. If a match is not found, the Gather tool stops processing.

-dAccept duplicate ®les. If a ®le is found on the target directory that matches the source ®le speci®cation, it is overwritten by the source ®le.

If this ¯ag is not speci®ed, the default is to ensure that no ®les on the target match the source ®le speci®cation. For example, if the source speci®cation is g*.c, and greg.c is found on the target, the Gather tool stops processing.

-cClean up the target directories. Erase all ®les on all target directories that existed before writing source ®les to these directories. No con®rmation messages are issued, and permission errors are ignored.

If this ¯ag is not speci®ed, the default is to write the source ®les into the target directories without erasing existing ®les.

-eEnd with delete. This action removes all source ®les and directories after the Gather tool successfully completes.

If this ¯ag is not speci®ed, the default is to end without deleting source ®les and directories.

-xAbort without recovery. If the program does not end successfully, no attempt is made to restore the ®le system.

If this ¯ag is not speci®ed, the Gather tool attempts to restore the ®le system if the program does not end successfully. To do this, the tool ®rst backs up the ®le system. The backup directory is the value of the TMP environment variable.
