12.If you lifted out the power supply to access the drive bracket screws, set the power supply back into place.
13.Install the server system cover. For instructions, see “Installing the Server System Cover”.
Removing a Hard Drive
1.Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this book. See “Safety Information” on page iii.
2.Power down the server and unplug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable.
3.Remove the server system cover. For instructions, see “Removing the Server System Cover” on page 14.
4.Remove the three screws that hold the hard drive bracket to the chassis. For easiest access to the two screws on the right side, lift the power supply from the system. See letter “A” in the figure below.
5.Lift the drive carrier from the chassis. See letter “B” in the figure.
