9.Set the replacement fan into place. See letter “A” in the following figure. When correctly positioned, the fan cable extends from the top right side of the fan, at the rear.

12.If you removed the main power cable, bundle the fan cables together and hold them in place under the cable for the main power cable while you connect the main power cables. Use caution to make sure you do not pinch any cables when you connect the main power supply connectors. Make sure the fan cables will not block airflow from the memory cooling fans. See letter “D”
