Adjusting the side guides

Before you begin feeding documents into the scanner, adjust the position of the side guides and feed shelf position.

Adjust the width of the feed shelf side guides to hold the widest document you will be scanning. Leave approximately 1/16-inch

(2 mm) clearance on each side of the largest document to allow for proper feeding.

NOTE: Ensure that the documents are center-fed so each document covers the 2 ½-inch required width as indicated by the label on the feed tray.
