AutoIP can be disabled by setting the unit’s IP address to 0.0.1.0. This setting enables DHCP but disables AutoIP.
2.4 DeviceInstaller
You can manually assign the IP address using DeviceInstaller software, which is found on the product CD. If you want to use a serial connection instead of an Ethernet connection to configure the device, go to Serial Port Login on page
2.4.1 Install DeviceInstaller Software
1.Insert the product CD into your
If the CD does not launch automatically:
a)Click the Start button on the Task Bar and select Run.
b)Enter your CD drive letter, colon, backslash, deviceinstaller.exe (e.g., E:\deviceinstaller.exe).

2.Click the Device Installer button. The installation wizard window displays.
3.Respond to the installation wizard prompts. (When prompted to select an installation type, select Typical.)
