TROUBLESHOOTING & REPAIR

ROTOR RESISTANCE TEST

WARNING

Service and repair should be performed by only Lincoln Electric factory trained personnel. Unauthorized repairs performed on this equipment may result in danger to the technician or machine operator and will invalidate your factory warranty. TEST DESCRIPTION

This test will determine if there is an open winding in the rotor or if the rotor is grounded.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Ohmmeter

3/8" Wrench or socket wrench 7/16" wrench

9/16" Wrench Needle nose pliers Wiring Diagram

This procedure should take approximately 30 minutes to perform.
