If you scroll to contact information from another phone, you can make a call to any of the numbers in the contact information.

3.To place the call now, press O.

Scroll left or right to display the number type you want to call. When the correct number is displayed, press O to place the call.

To makecalls whileviewing the details ofanitemonthe RecentCalls list:

1.From the Recent Calls list, select the item containing the number you want to call. If you select a call or contact information from another phone, you can make a call to the number shown first on the details screen.

2.Press O.

Tip

To make a Direct Connect call from the Recent Calls

 

list, find the Direct Connect number you want to call

 

and press and hold the Direct Connect button to

 

place the call.

 

 

Making a Phone Call Using a Voice Name

If you have created a voice name in Contacts for the number you want to call (see page 102), say the voice name into your phone to enter the number.

1.Press and hold the SpeakerButton (s) until a prompt appears telling you to say the voice name.

2.Speaking into the microphone, say the voice name assigned to the number you want to call. Your phone plays the name back to you.

3.The call is placed automatically.

Using Speed Dialing

You can store up to 600 numbers in your phone’s speed dial memory.

To use Turbo Dial® for speeddiallocations 1–9:

Press and hold the appropriate key for approximately two seconds. The display confirms that the number has been dialed when it shows “Calling...”.
