You can use up to two Passport 8672ATME Modules in one Passport 8600 series chassis.

•RFC 1483 point-to-multipoint bridging—up to 64 PVCs per ELAN

•MLT using bridged RFC 1483 PVCs

•VBR traffic shaping per VC channel

•STP support

•F5 OAM end-to-end loopback

•SONET statistics and ELAN/PORT level statistics

•Front-panel Online LED to monitor module operation

•Ability to remove and install a module (hot-swap) without resetting the switch (MDAs are not hot-swappable)

•AAL 5

•Hardware diagnostics
