6Press the Send softkey. A confirmation message appears.

Handling incoming instant messages

When your i2004 Internet Telephone beeps to alert you of a new instant message (IM), you can

1Use the navigation buttons to scroll through the IM text.

2Use the Detail softkey to view details about the IM

—Press Call to call the sender of the IM.

—Press the Reply softkey to reply to an IM. Enter the desired message using the alphanumeric input mode, and select the Send softkey, or Cancel to return to the previous screen.

3Use the Prev and Next softkeys if you have more than one IM to view.

4Press the Cancel softkey to clear all IM messages.

Call forward

You can forward your calls to other locations with your i2004 Internet Telephone Call Forwarding feature.

Tip: If you are logged into multiple i2004 Internet Telephones, every line associated with you will have call forwarding enabled.

Forwarding a call

To forward your calls to another location

1Press the Servcs softkey.

2Highlight the Call Forward option and press the Select softkey. (See Note below if there is more than one user logged in.)

3Enter the destination address. Or, press an inbox, outbox or address book quick button and select an entry from the list.
