The DND (Do Not Disturb) function

The DND (Do Not Disturb) function*

You do not want to be disturbed by the telephone for a certain length of time (DND function) and therefore do not want to receive any calls.

Using the DND function

Activating

the DND function:

D.N.D

Activ.

Deactivating

the DND function:

Cancel

Extension in idle mode:

1 - Press the Funct. interactive key.

The display prompts you to select a function.

2 - Press the Feature interactive key.

The display shows the message "SELECT A FEATURE".

3 - Press the - ->interactive key.

4 - Press the D.N.D interactive key.

The display shows "DO YOU WANT NOT TO BE DISTURBED?"

5 - Press the interactive Activ. key to finish.

The display shows “DO NOT DISTURB ACTIVATED” for information.

You will not receive any calls.

When the extension is idle, the display shows the message

"DO NOT DISTURB ACTIVATED".

- Press the Cancel interactive key.

A sound message and the display confirm the deactivating.

You will now receive calls again.

Reminder: use the red key to return to idle mode.

Overriding the DND function*

You want to speak to a correspondent who has programmed the DND function on his/her extension. You can force this function and call the extension in question.

- Press the keys before dialing the extension number.

* Depending on the facilities provided by your system operator.
