1. Main ofﬁce B determines that this LOC plus digits is to a local Branch

Ofﬁce with preﬁx 225. (If sharing this LOC with another Branch Ofﬁce,

the extended LOC is 44434.) The system transmits 225-444-3456 to

the NRS. The NRS checks its provisioning,and deter mines that this call

goes to Branch Ofﬁce B1.

2. The main ofﬁce sends the call to 225-444-3456 to the Branch Ofﬁce.

The Branch Ofﬁce deletes the preﬁx, and the HLOC, and rings set 3456.

Branch Ofﬁce

The following example shows a call between two branch ofﬁces. In this

example,the HLOC is unique between the main ofﬁce and Branch Ofﬁce. In

Figure 35 "Call ﬂow for Scenario 1 - call to remote Branch Ofﬁce (originator

side)" (page 103), the ﬁrst half of the call is shown (originator side of

the call). In Figure 36 "Call ﬂow for Scenario 1 - call to remote Branch

Ofﬁce (destination side)" (page 104), the second half of the call is shown

(destination side of the call).
