Zone parameters

Zone parameters must be conﬁgured at both the main ofﬁce Call Server

and MG 1000B Call Server. The main ofﬁce procedure is similar to an IP

Peer Network conﬁguration with the Branch Ofﬁce-speciﬁc conﬁguration

outlined in this chapter.

Zone parameters are deﬁned at the main ofﬁce in LD 117 (see Procedure

9 "Conﬁguring ESN and MG 1000B zones" (page 210)) and applied to IP

Phones in LD 11 (see Procedure 27 "Installing IP Phones through overlays"

(page 279)).

Time adjustments for zones are conﬁgured in LD 117 and deﬁned relativeto

the time set in LD 2.

"EmergencySer vices conﬁguration" (page 315) describes ESA conﬁguration

in the dialing plan for the main ofﬁce and Branch Ofﬁce.

Conﬁguring ESN and MG 1000B zones

EDD or through Element Manager) on the Call Server to back up

the existing data.
